A new catalogue can mean hundreds of photos, each needing the same shape, size and file limit. Doing that one by one in a photo editor eats a whole afternoon. Here you drop one ZIP, choose the marketplace, and every photo goes through the same steps.
All the work happens on your own device. The ZIP is opened in the browser tab, the photos are never sent anywhere, and closing the tab clears them. That also means speed depends on your device, and a phone can take a while on a large batch.
What happens to each photo
Each photo is padded on white or cropped to the shape you chose, resized to the recommended pixels and saved as a JPG, searching for the best quality that fits under the file limit. Then it is tested against the same rules as the image checker, so the report describes the finished file.
A resize cannot repaint a background. If a photo was shot on grey or cream, it can fail the white background test after resizing. Those photos are marked in the report so you can treat them with the background remover and run them again.
Folders and file names stay the same
The new ZIP keeps your folder structure. File names stay the same except that spaces and symbols become hyphens, so my photo.jpg becomes my-photo.jpg, and the extension can change. If your catalogue sheet refers to photos by name, use simple names to keep those references working. Files that could not be read are listed as skipped and left out.
